Ginataang Halo-halo


  1.  pc medium size mature coconut,grated
  2. 100 gms fresh ripe langka or jackfruit, segmented
  3. 100 gms boiled camote or sweet potato (cut into cubes)
  4. 60 gms cooked large sago or tapioca
  5. 100 gms boiled ube or purple yam (cut into cubes)
  6. 100 gms  boiled taro roots (cut into cubes)
  7. 100 gms  boiled ripe saba banana (cut into cubes)
  8. 1 cup fresh coconut milk (first pressing)
  9. 2cups thin coconut milk (second pressing) 
  10. 1 cup sugar
  11. Ice


  • Combine jackfruit, banana, tapioca and boiled root cropsin a bowl
  • In a pitcher dissolve the sugar in 2 cups of thin coconut milk
  • Add some ice cubes
  •  Pour over the solid ingredients
  • Then  pour the thick coconut milk and mix well
  • You now have a ready halo-halo snacks.
  •  Enjoy!
